FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the best time of year to dive the Cenotes?

Here in Mexico we are blessed with near perfect diving conditions 365 days a year in the Cenotes! High season is typically between the months of November and April, with the hottest months being April and June.

What’s the water temperature?

Temperatures in the Cenotes are pretty constant year round, between 25-26’c or 77-78’f. For your comfort we recommend to use a 5mm wetsuit during all diving activities. For cave training and longer dives, it is recommended you use a drysuit with light undergarments.

Do you visit the same sites daily?

No. We visit a large variety of Cenotes for all of our services, ensuring your get the most out of your trip. If there is a specific site you would like to visit just let us know in advance. Please note if you are training with us there are designated training caves which we will visit frequently.

Do you provide all the equipment?

Yes. Full diving equipment is included in the price for any guided cavern dives or training days. All of our rental gear is from reputable brands in new or in near new condition. There is a rental fee for equipment for certified cave divers.

What should I bring with me for the day?

We recommend all divers bring a towel and some sturdy footwear. Food and drinks are provided during guided cavern tours. If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know in advance. For training and guided cave services we will be able to pick up some tacos along the way! Sunscreen and mosquito repellent are not allowed to be used when diving in the Cenotes in order to avoid polluting the aquifer.

Do you offer hotel pick up?

Due to local taxi regulations we are unable to pick up guests from the hotel zone. We can arrange to meet anywhere in Central Tulum or if you have a rental car we can provide you with our location and you will be able to safely leave your rental car with us during your diving days.

“Elliot is a top bloke and an amazing instructor! Me and my friend did several days of guided dives with Elliot and we could not recommend him enough! Great dives and great company, and always amazing food recommendations for post dive snacks!”
